Track Review: Max Tundra, o amado esquizofrénico que detona sons desavindos (made in Júlio de Matos), beats insolentes e antipáticos, e instrumentação humanóide, originando uma Pop genial de cabeça invertida está de regresso. Desde o seminal "Mastered By Guy at the Exchange" , editado à seis anos, que não tinhamos notícias do irreverente Rei da laptronica, mas Ben Jacobs estava, desde essa altura e até hoje, a recarregar o seu arsenal sónico, texturas distorcidas, e acima de tudo a crescer e a sedimentar a sua "exclusiva" sonoridade. Pela primeira amostra, do novo registo, percebemos que Jacobs é fiel a si mesmo, e ao seu peculiar estilo (variado e avariado), deliciosamente confundindo os ouvidos com detalhes synth-pop, glitch-pop, IDM, envoltos em emoção e charme tecnológico.

Ainda me encontro atordoado com a beleza do Lp, Vainajan Muotokuva de 2007 pela soberba Fonal records, e o meu primeiro contacto com esta DiscoLady Finlandesa, quando sou confrontado com a notícia que no próximo mês vamos ter novo registo da Deusa do Gelo, de seu nome: Älä kysy kuolleilta, he sanoivat (sim, isso mesmo!). Só se pode esperar mais beleza cristalina feita de dramatismo e desolação electrónica.
