Krystian Czaplicki aka truth

Born January 19, 1984 in Wroclaw Poland, he was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. For more then 8 years he has acted on the streets under the pseudonym Truth as urban intervention artist, painter and sculptor. In 2004 he started working on the project Truthtag. His works vary in form, style and meaning depending on the situation and circumstances. They embody a history of illegal break-ins, also of aesthetic ones. Most of Truth’s works discretely sabotage and soothe uncontrollable element of degradation and accumulation. His interventions are little cracks, laconic and poetic displacements. In the constantly changing urban view he tests citizens perceptive potential and reaction to urban landscape. Truthtag is a multi levelled urban experiment... AMAZING STUFF

Ok, o vídeo é de 2006, dos Mogwai (do Lp Mr Beast), e já passaram dois anos desde a sua criação... mas continua a ser um dos melhores registos visuais adaptados a uma música, num estupendo trabalho directo para o Panteão. É sempre bom voltar aqui e deliciar a retina com tamanha obra-prima.

É sábado...o céu está polido e sem inimigos lá em cima, mas a nudez é proibida...o azul é libertador, mas as tropas não avançam...está sol, mas esta luz não esquenta... o calor não se desprende e abate...o arrepio paira por aí....este quadro exterior mente...e é nas costas de uma janela que se esconde o quente.

Neste dias que parecem ser o que não são, que ampliam os olhos mas escondem a pele, nada melhor que ficar na companhia destes dois "juveniles" maestros, e das suas fábulas tocadas e tocantes:

Description:What if you watch a film and whenever you pause it, you face a painting? This idea inspired Reza Dolatabadi to make Khoda. Over 6000 paintings were painstakingly produced during two years to create a five minutes film that would meet high personal standards. Khoda is a psychological thriller; a student project which was seen as a ‘mission impossible’ by many people but eventually proved possible!
