Michael Kai current photographic project, This Side Up is a series of manipulated, distorted and tweaked photographs that, if he was alive today, Escher would proudly hang on his ceiling wall. At first glance they seem like completely normal everyday photographs, but at closer inspection and following a killer headache as your brain ties itself up in knots, you realise they're not.
