Os escoceses Camera Obscura, que há pouco tempo mudaram-se de armas e bagagens para a 4AD deixando a Merge Records, preparam-se para fazer a sua estreia na nova editora, 3 anos depois de 'Let's Get Out Of The Country, e 6 após o magnífico Underachievers Please Try Harder. Os óbvios descendentes dos Belle & Sebastian, prometem novas pérolas indie pop com a chegada do próximo 'My Maudlin Career' (a 20 de Abril), gravado na Suécia com Jari Haapalainen (Concretes), mas avisam desde já que o novo trabalho será mais obscuro que os anteriores.
Aqui ficam as palavras de Tracyanne Campbell: "some people who have heard it say it's intense and quite dark. I suppose it is in a way. We were even more open and brave when making it than we were with the last record."
