The work of artist Brian M. Viveros is sort of like flipping through a book of Vargas pin-ups after smoking a vial of crack. The sultry, sensual and surreal femme fatales that dwell within his darkly evocative universe convey a defiant strength that is highlighted by their scratches, bruises and tattoos. Viveros says, “It’s like they’ve been through it all but still have time to pose for my camera eye”. Viveros uses a combination of oils, acrylics, airbrush and a pack of Marlboro Lights to bring his smoking gals to life.
