Com o coma induzido (até mais ver) da Touch and Go, começa a assistir-se à "forçada" mudança de casa de diversos artistas que faziam parte do seu esplendoroso catálogo, e os Pinback são dos primeiros a encontrarem novo lar. A banda de Brooklyn ruma então para a Temporary Residence, e para a bela companhia dos Explosions in the Sky, Eluvium, Mono, e outros, ao mesmo tempo que prevê o sucessor do subtil Autumn of the Seraphs (2007), para 2010, já com novo senhorio.
Aqui fica o discurso da banda:
"Pinback would like to thank Touch and Go Records for putting out our last 2 releases. We have nothing but good things to say about the label. It's hard to see them go. The releases that they did over the last 25+ years have been an inspiration to us, and it was an honor to be on the label. We hope that Touch and Go Records will rise again, they have been such a positive influence on us. We made a lot of friends over the course of the 5 years we were there, we felt like we were a part of a family. You couldn't ask for anything more. We wish Corey Rusk and everyone that worked there the best. At the same time we are looking forward to starting a new chapter in Pinback's future with Temporary Residence. It's important to us that the label we are a part of has a down-to-earth, genuine 'human vibe' to it. We feel this is the case at Temporary Residence. We can't wait and are looking forward to writing a solid new record for them. "
